Art That Speaks: Comics and Graphic StorytellingJuly 28 to August 1Leslie Barnard Booth and Anne StorrsExplore the art of graphic storytelling in this workshop for students who love comics and graphic novels. We'll investigate the origins of sequential art, analyze techniques used in great comics and graphic novels, and practice the craft of weaving together word and image to tell a story. Each participant will create their own graphic story collection.Monday – Friday 9 AM to 1 PM with opening after last class on Friday. Workshop is for rising 6 to 8 grade students.
